Audio Capture User Guide – Record Any Sound Losslessly on PC

AudFree Audio Capture for Windows is the most comprehensive audio recorder and editor with the ability of recording all audio tracks from any source, like streaming music, radios, local videos, games, etc. and editing audio records flexibly. Now, refer to the following tutorial to record and save any audio on PC to MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc. by using AudFree Audio Capture.

Step 1 Launch AudFree Audio Capture for Windows

Double click the shortcut of AudFree Audio Capture from the desktop to open it. You will get its main window. Here you can touch the 'Select/Add an App' section > '+' to add and load the installed apps from your computer like browser or web player, media player, streaming music service, and other applications. Or, you can just tap the 'Add an App' section in the main screen to import or drag & drop the target program directly.

Step 2 Customize Output Format and Other Settings

AudFree Audio Recorder can support a wide variety of output formats, including MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A, M4B, etc. You can define one of these supported audio formats as the output format by clicking the 'Format' section at the bottom of AudFree interface. In the new window, click the 'gear' icon and then you are able to personalize other output parameters like encoder, bit rate, sample rate, etc. according to your special needs.

Step 3 Start to Play and Capture Audio Tracks

Please choose the target program from the apps list and click 'Start', and AudFree will pop up the target platform simultaneously. Now, you can start to discover and play the audio or videos including pleasure background music that you'd like to capture. AudFree software will launch the recording process automatically.

Note: Since AudFree Audio Capture comes with the multi-track audio recording feature, you are able to record multiple music tracks from different programs at the same time. This smart music recording software can save all audio records into independent tracks intelligently.

Step 4 Save and Edit the Audio Recordings

To stop the recording process, you just need to tap the 'Stop' button on AudFree. Now, you can click the 'Trim' icon at each recorded track to split unwanted segments by setting the start time and the end time. Also, you can merge favorite recording clips into a new file by checking the mark next to 'Merge all into one file'.

Once all settings are ok, please touch the 'Save' button to store audio records to the destination folder. Then you can find the recorded audio files by clicking the 'History' option at the left panel.
