Double click the shortcut to open AudFree Audio Capture from the desktop, and you will see a pop-up window, in which there is a list of downloaded programs on your computer, like browser or web player, media player, streaming music service, and other applications. You can choose one of these icons to record audio tracks from that program. If the target program is not included in the list, please click the '+' button to add any favorite app directly.
Step 2 Customize Output Format and Other Settings
AudFree Audio Recorder can support a wide variety of output formats, including MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A and M4B. You can define one of these supported audio formats as the output format by clicking the 'Format' button at the bottom-right corner of AudFree interface. In the new window, you are also able to personalize other output parameters, like codec, bit rate, sample rate, etc. according to your special needs.
Step 3 Start to Play and Capture Audio Tracks
Please touch the target program from the starting window, and AudFree will pop up a new recording window simultaneously. Now, you can start to discover and play the audios or videos including pleasure background music that you'd like to capture. AudFree software will launch the recording process automatically.
Note: Since AudFree Audio Capture comes with the multi-track audio recording feature, you are able to record multiple music tracks from different programs at the same time. This smart music recording software can save all audio records into independent tracks intelligently.
Step 4 Save and Edit the Audio Recordings
To stop the recording process, you just need to close the playing audio tracks or directly quit the whole browser. Now you can click the 'Edit' icon at each recorded track to split unwanted segments by setting the start time and the end time or merge favorite recording clips into a new file by checking the mark next to 'Merge all into one file'.
Once all settings are ok, please touch the 'Save' button to store audio records to the destination folder.
